Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Laboratory of
Burn and Reconstructive Medicine Research Center of Velayat Hospital has been established with the aim of providing technical and consulting services.
This laboratory’s activities include conducting research projects in the field of biomaterials, tissue engineering scaffolds,
wound dressings and injectable and non-injectable hydrogels based on natural and synthetic polymers containing drugs,
nanoparticles and plants’ extract, systems for controlling drug release,
as well as a variety of ointments for healing wounds and burns.
